Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using any service provided by Jays Transportation Private Shuttle Van dba Singleton Technologies LLC ("the Company"), you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
2. Service Description
The Company offers private shuttle van services in and around Orlando, Florida. Services include airport transfers, hotel pickups, and other transportation needs as specified at the time of booking.
3. Booking and Confirmation
- Reservations: All bookings must be made in advance either online, via phone, or through email.
- Confirmation: Once a booking is made, a confirmation email will be sent to the Customer. Please ensure all details are correct and inform the Company immediately of any discrepancies.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment Methods: The Company accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified on the booking platform.
- Payment Timing: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Receipts: A receipt will be provided upon request after payment is processed.
5. Service Use
- Pickup and Drop-off: Customers must be ready at the designated pickup location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The Company will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup time.
- Behavior: Customers must behave in a manner that is respectful to the driver and the vehicle. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any Customer displaying inappropriate behavior.
- Luggage: Each Customer is allowed up to two pieces of luggage. Additional luggage may incur extra charges and must be declared at the time of booking.
6. Liability
- Damages: The Customer will be held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle during the service.
- Lost Items: The Company is not responsible for any lost or stolen items during the service.
- Service Interruptions: The Company will not be liable for any delays or interruptions caused by factors beyond its control, such as traffic, weather conditions, or mechanical failures.
7. Privacy
The Company respects the privacy of its Customers and will handle all personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal data collected will only be used for the purposes of providing the requested service.
Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation by Customer
- Notice Period: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time.
- Refunds: Full refunds will be provided for cancellations made within the notice period. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service time will not be eligible for a refund.
2. Cancellation by the Company
- The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as vehicle breakdowns, driver illness, or other emergencies. In such cases, a full refund will be provided to the Customer, or an alternative arrangement will be offered.
3. Changes to Bookings
- Modification Requests: Any changes to the booking must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. The Company will do its best to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee availability.
- Additional Charges: Changes that result in additional charges, such as additional stops that weren't scheduled in advance, must be paid by the Customer at the time the service is rendered.
4. No-Show Policy
- Definition: A "no-show" is defined as the Customer failing to be present at the designated pickup location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.
- Charges: No refunds will be provided for no-shows, and the full cost of the service will be charged.
The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and transportation rates at any time without prior notice. Customers are advised to review the terms and conditions periodically.
